So what’s on your agenda today folks?

What’s going on in your part of the world?

I’m sitting here in my quiet chair, looking out the window and sipping on some tea.

My day off.

No plans as of yet except the usual of cleaning and laundry.

In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Romans 8:37

  1. In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Romans 8:37….I’ve been dealing with a lot lately. I should say the same ‘stuff’ just different circumstances, relationships, etc.The ‘fear’..forget everything and run is trying to take over instead of the ‘fear’ face everything and rise remain firm. Lots of praying and lots of crying. This really spoke to me today from Streams in the Desert. A beautiful message from God to my heart…”The things we try to avoid and fight against-tribulation, suffering, and persecution -are the very things that produce abundant joy in us. We are more than conquerors through Him, in all these things; not in spite of them, but in the midst of them. A saint doesn’t know the joy of the Lord in spite of tribulation, but because of it. Paul said “I am exceedingly joyful in all our tribulation. “2 Corinthians 7:4

    • Sending prayers, love and hugs your way…this has been a trying season sister. Sorry I was not there for you last night :/ I messaged on your wall and in a pm this morning but you must be out and about. I didn’t know that your mom was in the hospital–I will be keeping her and your dad in prayer as well. I will be out for the day but maybe tonight we can hook up? Love you!!

  2. Good morning, Angela! The sun is shining here in Pennsylvania!!!! Not a lot on the plate today. Maybe a mall run with my daughter…maybe an auction later with the hubby. Not much money to spend, but I love to watch and see what comes up and how much people are willing to pay….plus there’s always the chance of getting something wonderful at a ridiculously low price. Please keep us in prayer for our finances. Our son is in the process of buying an absolutely wonderful, perfect for his family home, but some unexpected closing costs have come up. He needs to have $700 in his bank account for the loan company to see by Tuesday. My dear hubby said we would loan it to him….awesome except that we don’t have anything to spare right now due to winter killing our work. I wanted to see if it was possible to lend part of it and him borrow the rest from someone else, but hubby is adamant the WE will be the ones that make sure he gets the house. Hero complex if there ever was one. Sigh. Just please pray the Lord takes care of us financially.

    • Every hope or dream of the human mind will be fulfilled if it is noble and of God.”
“Perseverance is more than endurance. It is endurance combined with ABSOLUTE assurance and certainty that what we are looking for is going to happen. Perseverance is our supreme effort of refusing to believe that our HERO is going to be conquered.”
“Also, our fear is that the very things our Lord stood for – love, justice, forgiveness and kindness among men – will not win out in the end and will represent an unattainable goal for us.”
Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10…remember warrior princess sisters, daughters of the Most High God..

Praying for your son and this wonderful new adventure he is on but it’s also a difficult one because your also effected..I’ve just been sitting here crying away because of what’s on our plate, that my youngest son confronted me on my swearing in the bathroom and freaking out for a few minutes. I apologized and told him I ‘got it’ (when he reminded me of us working on being whole and healthy here).Dealing with SO much good, the bad and the ugly that it is very overwhelming right now…I’m going to sit at Abba’s feet for a bit, like a little girl with her colouring book, I’m going to sit at His feet and do some journalling…♥ I do thank God for you Stacy and for ‘showing up’ today and linking arm in arm with one another♥ Blessings dear warrior princess sister, daughter of the most high God.♥

    • I’m glad your day turned out to be such a blessing! Mine did as well. I did go to the mall with my daughter and for the first time ever, she bought me lunch….I feel like I should write it in her “baby” book. Another milestone. LOL Never got to the auction. The hubby had to work late and our son and his family arrived early in the afternoon and stayed through supper. I amused the kids to give Mom and Dad a bit of time to relax, but whooo! I am TIRED. There is a reason the Lord gives kids to young people. I thank the Lord for your friendship, too, Angela and for knowing you’re a prayer warrior out there linking shields when it’s time to stand. I keep pestering the hubby…one of these days I’m going to turn up in Niagara Falls. 🙂
