The Lord protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and then He saved me. Now I can rest again, for the Lord has been so good to me.
He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. And I so walk in the Lord’s presence as I live here on earth!~

I don’t know about you, but learning to be content and doing my best to love God and love others is a huge fulltime never-ending activity. Yet, He wouldn’t tell us to strive for something unattainable. And He knows these 2 aspects are knitted together, so we must endeavor to make Him smile by even our attempts. See, I don’t worry about failure in this. God knows we’ll get it eventually. Just like watching our babies learn to walk. We are joyous and happy and ever encouraging to babies when they try to stand by themselves or walk by themselves and land on their bum. What do we do? Smile. Hug them. Help them stand again. That’s our Father. He loves our efforts just as much as meeting the goal.
