Day One of Thankfulness

004

I ended up breaking down in tears at work today while filling up the ice cappuccino bucket.

The carpal tunnel had me spill ice cappuccino all over the sink and tears just gushed out.

I tried to push them back but they wouldn’t stop. So I just kept doing what I needed to do and prayed “God help me remain and calm”….lol♥

A co worker (I call her my shining star) came up to me and rubbed my back. Asked if everything was ok♥

I made a list on my lunch in my journal some things I was thankful for.

The above story I’m thankful to share, thankful that it happened because it just made me see God in ALL of it and how He IS taking care of me♥

Here are a few other things on the list….

*Thankful for a pay cheque.

*Thankful for ride to work and from work by my husband.

*Thankful for two work tops so I can have a clean shirt each day.

*Thankful for being surrounded by ‘world changers’. The students at the College.

I’m also thankful for the ‘elimination’ diet God has me on…

Removing anger, regret, resentment, guilt, blame, and worry.

Yep, God is good all the time and all the time God is good.

So what are you thankful for today?

blessings, angela

  1. A working furnace (it’s cold outside); lunch with a friend & a seat by Cracker Barrel’s fireplace); a good place for my husband to work & his willingness to do so; a good book to read “Come Rain or Come Shine” a Mitford novel; the noticeable lessening of pain in my knee following a bad fall over a week ago; adult children who love and serve Lord Jesus. And THIS is just a tiny, tiny fraction of all all I’m thankful for!

  2. hey there

I am thankful for being able to give up facebook for a few hours. It is a start. I am serious about giving it up. Thankful for you and all you share and do for others. Thankful for my family and friends and my new puppy who just makes my day. For an amazing Grandson. i could go on funny how when you write it down you start to realize how many things you have to be grateful for. Love ya and praying for a pain free day for you tomorrow.
