I’m thankful I’m brave….

No one ever told me

This would be easy
But I never knew
That it could be this hard
Oh the worry the worry the worry
Is weighing on me
Could you help me break down
All these question marks
And make me

I’ll fight like a soldier
Rise like a warrior
Won’t stop till the final day
I want to be stronger
Gonna be bolder
Look up and I see the way
You make me brave

I know I know I’m no superwoman
But impossible is possible with You
So no, no, no more running, no more hiding
Strike the fire so I’ll be fearless too
And make me

I’ll fight like a soldier
Rise like a warrior
Won’t stop till the final day
I want to be stronger
Gonna be bolder
Look up and I see the way
You make me brave

None go with me
Still I’ll follow
Through the joy
And through the sorrow
Cross before me
World behind me
There’s no turning back

I’ll fight like a soldier
Rise like a warrior
Won’t stop till the final day
I want to be stronger
Gonna be bolder
Look up and I see the way
You make me

Fight like a soldier
Rise like a warrior
Won’t stop till the final day
I want to be stronger
Gonna be bolder
Look up and I see the way
You make me brave

My parents and Sam have been diligently handing out invitations to family and friends.

I was able to post the invitation at work for a few days to invite any of my co workers who would be interested in attending and supporting this young family.

I have forgotten to tell some of my friends and been meaning to get around to it and let them know….sigh sigh sigh……

And Denise said to me today that I don’t struggle with social phobia.

Ya, sure…..

I have put off the old man and have put on the new man, which is renewed in the knowledge after the image of Him Who created me (Colossians 3:9-10).
I have given, and it is given to me; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, men give into my bosom (Luke 6:38).

I press on toward the goal to win the prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward (Philippians 3:14).
For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

I’m thankful for my time today sitting out on that park bench on my lunch.

I’m thankful for the blessings of sitting outside, listening to the birds sing, the warm wind embracing me and the sun kissing my face with warmth♥

I’m thankful for my walk with a neighbor down the street (and former co worker from Walmart) early this evening.

I’m thankful for the phone interview my husband had yesterday.

I’m thankful for the interview he will be having tomorrow.

I’m thankful that God is protecting us so powerfully during these really difficult times we are having at the moment.

I’m thankful that I see God in the midst of everything and that He is for my family and I and not against us.

I’m thankful that  just because I didn’t have a great start doesn’t mean I’m not going to have a great finish.

I’m thankful that I’m being set free from the victim mentality to a victor mentality.

I’m thankful that I am thankful (oh how thankful I am of that…lol♥…murmuring and complaining truly doesn’t do any good).

What about you? What are you thankful for?
