Been busy playing board games with my youngest son, his love and a young man down the street from us.
Lots of laughter.
My brother was wrong tonight.
He said I would be in bed by 9 pm.
It’s 10:10 pm.
I’m determined to greet 2016.
God help me!~

Well Christmas 2015 has been packed away.
I’ve been busy today spending time in my daughter’s room.

As JOY was placed last in the box of ornaments I said a prayer for those that are mourning and hurting today.
You have made me see hard times: I’ve experienced many miserable days,
but You will restore me again.
You will raise me up
from the deep pit.
You will greatly increase my status
and be my comfort once again. Psalm 71:20-21

The amount of presents were minimal but the ‘gifts’ were ENORMOUS.
Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-control.
Sometimes not having a ‘lot’ makes you realize exactly how MUCH you really do have.♥
It’s been a hard Christmas for many this year.
Some losing loved ones so close to Christmas.
Others having to go to the hospital, and a few, spending it in the hospital.
It’s the simple pleasures; the smile, the hug, touch and a rub on the back that make the difference during this Christmas season, and into the New Year.

I’m not there yet….
3-7 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.
Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
Don’t know about any of you but OH MY GOSH, I told God, “there sure is a LOT of changing to do in me with this check list!”~
Praise God for the warrior who reminded me yesterday…
The good work that God has started in each of our lives, well He WILL complete it!~

Resolutions.
New beginnings.
Fresh starts.
I’m not waiting. I’ve already started.
I have already resolved that next Christmas, I will have reached my ‘goal’ with weight release.
I resolved that I’m going to make a conscious effort each day to have JOY in my life.
Be it rejoicing (it doesn’t matter what is going on in your day, once you start rejoicing unto the Lord, oh my goodness gracious!~ Peace that transcends all understanding), or experiencing great pleasure and happiness at that moment.
Fresh starts and new opportunities present themselves to us each and every day.
It’s our choice to see them or not.
I’m looking at my planner sitting next to me and the words ‘set for the season’ pop out at me.
I’m in the process of putting away this seasons decorations.

Just got back from Walmart with Randy.
I can’t find my glasses.
Not since I left there last night after shopping for close to four hours.
sigh sigh sigh….please pray they turn up!~
After we got home my husband declares, ‘ok, I’m taking a break’.
I’m thinking of everything that has to get done and he wants to sit on his butt and do nothing?
Instantly my spirit rose up and declared that it is healthy to sit down, have a break, recharge, then get right back up and keep on going!~
That’s doing something.
Of course I will have to time my husband’s break, they cabn run over quite a bit..lol♥
Mine can too though….♥
Well break over, off to start running here and there and everywhere with comfort and joy!~
