Fearless and Confident

God of the Universe!~♥

I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. Isaiah 46:4

This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction; that Your Word has revived me and given me life. Psalm 119:50

Holy Spirit speak..speak to me!~

God made you, He made each of you and He is the One that is carrying all of you precious warrior princess daughters.

He has lifted you up as the loving merciful and gracious Abba Father does and He is saving each of you and your loved ones!~

So I declare warrior princess sisters that this is my comfort and my consolation in my affliction ,God’s Word is and will and has revived my family and I, giving us life, and not just any life, but an abundant life.

St. Augustine stated that fear is the enemy of love.

God is love.

Fear is the enemy of love.

If I am walking in fear, then my behavior is waging war against my spirit man…..

I will face down my fears, and stand my ground on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ..I will overcome evil with good…Love conquerors all things.

The solution to fear is the presence of God.

I want to let you all know that I am praying for each of you as you wage your war and facing down the enemies, standing on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ…plus kneeling, laying prostrate, and bowed down (those are the times when Father God is walking before us, letting the enemy know Who we belong too!~ Glory to God!~

As I took a break from gardening, I sat by the fire and took this picture♥

Live better.

I am not sure if it is Mental Health Week, or Month but that is what this is about.

Living better with whatever you are dealing with.

Be it mental illness, cancer, diabetes, stroke, dysfunctional relationships and codependency, etc, etc.

I shared with my bff today about lessons learned at work.

How I behave at work should be the same as I behave at home.

Just because I’m having a bad day, hard day, frustrating day does not give me the right to take it out on those around me.

Communicating to one another from a place of respect and honor.

Shut my mouth if I am unable to do it and wait for a time I have more self control over that tongue of mine.

Holding each other accountable.

Hard one to do when you struggle with people pleasing, not wanting anyone to get upset with you or angry, or being intimated.

I will tell you though, it is less painful than living the other way…

“Get more for your family”.

Live better gets you a sweet life♥

Work out….your own salvation…(not in your own strength) for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you (energizing and creating in you the power and desire), both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. Philippians 2:12-13

I have read this a few times already.

Just letting it really soak into my spirit.

It is God Who is working in me..it’s Him that is energizing me, and creating in me the power and the desire to do His will.

To work for His good pleasure, satisfaction and delight in bringing His kingdom of heaven down to earth!~

That being said..that being what God our Father said..how should I be living my life?

Meaning, what should my thought life be like?

Father God I continue to cry out to impart in each of us these truths, Your truth that sets us free…

amen amen amen

that you should put away the old self of your former way of life, corrupted through deceitful desires, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new self, created in God’s way in righteousness and holiness of truth. Ephesians 4:22-23

No more excuses.

There will always be something.

Most of my childhood life I heard..

“On Monday I’ll start my diet”.

That was being said on Friday!~

There will always be something that will try to keep us in our former way of life.

Be it sickness, medication we take, stress of life, schedules that make it almost impossible to eat healthy and exercise, ….the list is endless. I am quite sure you can add a few of your own here, right?

No more excuses.

If your here at this group, it means you are one that needs to be even more diligent with not allowing the excuses, the ‘reasons’ keep you from losing the extra weight that does not belong on the temple of God Almighty!~

Each and every day we are called to put on the new self. Each and every day the old self (I’ll call it zombie girl..the dead man trying to come back…)will try to to live it’s life through me…

I need to be diligent each and every day to renew my mind…I actually mean..each and every second I need to renew my mind in Christ…

My new self has been created in God’s way in righteousness (right way of living).

Doing the right thing is hard.

Doing the right thing does not come easy.

Doing the right thing in love gives you the supernatural power that come from the Holy Spirit.

Doing the right thing in love!~

Not just doing the right thing…for if your doing it with no love then your just a great big sounding gong in God’s ear!~

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1

So I’m letting go of the excuses, the blame it game, the not taking responsibility, or ownership….

What about you? Are you there yet? What’s holding you back from taking that step?

You have put more joy and rejoicing in my heart than (they know)when their wheat and new wine have yielded abundantly. In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, lord alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust. Psalm 4:7-8

Fill my heart with joy
when their grain and new wine abound.

In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety.Psalm 4:7-8

Some of us have been in some pretty big battles lately. Bigger then ever before.

God’s Word speaks of joy, of provision, of peace and safety.

I continue to cast my cares upon the Lord for He cares for me.

I don’t know how things are going to work out, but God does and I need to rest in that.

When my thoughts start going to and fro, that is when I have pushed God out of the picture and starting to try to figure it out myself!~

Despair, fear, anxiety, frustration, bitterness and anger creep in fast!~

Like rushing waters.

Taking me under.

You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand. Psalm 16:11

Fill me with joy in His presence.

The path of life is about losing the chains, the shackles that have bound us to captivity and slavery!~

How are you doing in the battles?

His sacrifice for our freedom…For God so loved us, His warrior princess daughters….that He gave His One and only Son, ….

This post below was written almost two years ago.

As one who has battled with agoraphobia, depression, anxiety, OCD, and numerous addictions, I can honestly say peace of mind and heart is achievable♥

I’m living proof♥

Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15

The first scripture has been popping up over and over these last few days. Either in books that I am reading, or in my head.

The second scripture is just bringing confirmation…peace..peace…peace.

Let go of the anxiety!~

We are called to peace and we are to be thankful.

satan would have me focus on what is happening in our lives right now and the circumstances that we are facing.

This morning I said to the Lord..’I don’t know what to do, but You do so I am going to trust in You.I am going to trust that everything is going to work out because Your in control.”

I WILL NOT try to figure out ‘stuff’ that I am dealing with. I am going to let peace rule in my heart and be thankful.

Just got back from a tour with McMaster Children’s Hospital

Met with Jessica and her parents.005

Had a tour and listened to the stories of the lives that were changed because of the helping hand we did at the check out when a cashier asks if we would like to donate a dollar to Children’s Miracle Network♥

This year each store in out district is doing something also a bit differently in helping raise funds for the Network.

As many of you know, our store had face painting all weekend long♥ It was wonderful seeing the children’s painted faces as they shopped with their family♥

I’m in the process of helping raise money with having my hair cut off♥

I’m hoping Jessica will do the honors of cutting off my ponytail (which will go to Wigs for Cancer). One of the Duty Manager’s will be joining me getting her hair buzzed too♥

My hair has never been as long as it is right now.

People keep asking me if I’m scared about doing?

This is in the playroom at McMaster. The children can be Dr.’s also while they have their stay there (some for quite a few months).

They can cook up a delicious meal for their family♥

They can spend some time being a kid without a care, for a little bit before they face the mountain they must climb.

So am I scared?

How can I be when I know it is making a difference in getting the equipment that can save their lives, help make their time spent there more comfortable and fearless as can be♥

If you so feel led to donate, please email me at free_spirit103@hotmail.com message me on Face book Angela Redekop, call me, whatever…♥

Heart love

I learned this lesson awhile ago when I was working in another grocery store, No Frills.

This lesson has been brought to me NUMEROUS times now where I work.

I’ve mentioned many times that each of us has a story to tell.

Many of us just don’t share it.

So that being said, we need to remember that we don’t know what is going on with someone’s life at that moment in time.

Why are they behaving the way they are?

It is not towards us that they are really directing their hurt, or rudeness, or anger, or whatever….

“I’m buying my nephew this outfit. It was supposed to be his going home from the hospital but now we are not sure if it will be for his burial.”

“I’m just coming home from the hospital out of town. My mother has just died. She was having radiation for the cancer she was fighting. Her heart just stopped beating and they couldn’t revive her. I have to go home now to tell my children.”

When I am dealing with someone’s rudeness and disrespect, the thought that comes to my mind many times is, ‘what are they going through right now that is causing them to lash out on me?”

The other is a prayer..”God, help me behave.”….lol

One of my mentor’s at work (I have three,,ya, I’m a whole lotta woman..lol)…giggling here..

Ok, back to my story, one of them said something many years ago that has really helped me with the social phobia and anxiety.

This picture above was taken when I first started in 2010.

“Angela, your here to do a job. Your not here to make friends. If you do, great, if not, your here to do a job.”

I’ve kept that in the back of mind when there have been times I felt left out, or the phobias were trying to take over.

“Ang, just do your job and make sure your smiling.”

On the other hand I can go to the extreme where I’m so focused on doing my job that I’m not smiling or saying hello to anyone..LOL♥

A  few times I have had to tell my co workers that I’m not mad or angry, I’m just doing my job and just don’t have time to talk..LOL♥

I keep reminding myself though..smile for crying out loud♥
